Structure Design and Construction Analysis of a Stadium Steel Canopy

Abstract:
The steel canopy of Qilihe Stadium adopts large cantilever steel truss structure system, and themaximum cantilever length is 36 4m. After preliminary design selection and section optimization, thefirst⁃order natural vibration period of the main structure is controlled at about 0 6s, and the overallstiffness is good. Based on the stability and anti⁃collapse analysis, it shows that the structural stabilityand ultimate bearing capacity are high, and it has good resistance to progressive collapse. In theconstruction process of the stadium, the construction method of assembly, hoisting and unloading step bystep is adopted, and the stress and displacement of the key members are numerically simulated andmonitored on site. The results show that the numerical simulation results are in good agreement with themeasured results, which effectively ensures the construction progress and project quality. Subsequently,the long⁃term health monitoring of the steel canopy structure in the completed construction state is carriedout. The monitoring results show that the structural stress and deformation state are relatively stable, andthe response amplitude caused by temperature change is within a reasonable range, which meets thedesign requirements.
