In order to solve the problem of highway tunnel disease treatment, taking a highway tunnel asan engineering example, the causes of inverted arch filling cracking, the initial support deformation andthe secondary lining cracking are analyzed by using engineering analogy method and numerical simulationmethod. The suitable disease treatment technology is proposed, and the proposed tunnel reinforcementtechnology is detailed designed and studied. The results show that: Uneven settlement caused by terrainbias is an important cause of tunnel initial support deformation, inverted arch filling and secondary liningcracking; Meanwhile, rock weakness, rock strata rich in water and geological structure development arealso important influencing factors of tunnel initial support deformation, inverted arch filling and secondarylining cracking. The coupling interaction of which causes further deterioration of overlying surroundingrock and aggravation of lining structure diseases; The tunnel reinforcement scheme can avoid largeexcavation, and the construction is simple and the cost is low, and the scheme can effectively solve theproblems of tunnel inverted arch filling cracking, initial support deformation and secondary liningcracking through reasonable reinforcement measures. The finite element software is used to model andcalculate the reinforcement scheme in the tunnel, and the calculation results verify the safety andfeasibility of the scheme.
