Design and Analysis of Three,branch Composite Joint for a Steel Roof

Abstract:

Based on the design example of a three branch steel node in a certain steel roof structure, atype of composite pipe steel node scheme is introduced. This node scheme can be processed throughconventional welding technologywithout the need for specialized mold casting,with a shorter processingcycle and better economy. Based on different strengthening measures, five composite pipe steel jointschemes are proposed. This paper uses finite element software to compare and analyze five proposedcomposite pipe steel joint schemes. The research results indicate that the combination pipe steel jointscheme A3 can better meet the design requirements.
