Abstract:
When installing self⁃propelled jack⁃up wind turbine installation platforms in wind farm waters,in order to meet the requirements of existing offshore wind turbine equipment, a floating operation plan forself⁃propelled jack⁃up wind turbine installation platforms is proposed. Wave loads were calculated throughpotential flow theory, and the structural strength of the hull was analyzed under static load operation, full⁃load and light⁃load navigation operation conditions using 3D finite element software. The verification wascarried out to ensure that the strength of the main hull met the safety operation requirements. Based onthis, a technical guidance system should be further established around the entire on⁃site constructionprocess. Detailed operation norms should be formulated for pre⁃operation preparations, operationprocesses, and post⁃operation maintenance. A multi⁃level safety measure prevention system should alsobe established from the dimensions of structural stress, equipment failure, environmental changes, andpersonnel safety, to provide comprehensive technical support and safety guarantees for the floatingoperation of the platform.
