Application of DMP Method in Deep Foundation Excavation Engineering in Sensitive Environments

Abstract:
Aiming at the problems of low digitization and uncontrollable construction disturbance oftraditional mixing piles, a digital micro⁃disturbance soil mixing pile (DMP method)was developed andsuccessfully applied in the fourth phase project of Shanghai Pudong Airport. The results indicate that theDMP method can achieve a small disturbance to the surrounding environment during the constructionprocess by configuring multi⁃channel special⁃shaped drill pipe, differential blade, and ground pressuremonitoring system. And the measured settlement of the MRT maintenance base is only 1 —— 2mm. Thedigital construction control system ensures that the equipment is automatically constructed according to theinput design parameters and the construction process is displayed in the cloud. The apparent quality ofthe pile after excavation is obviously better than that of the three⁃axis mixing pile, and the strength anduniformity of the pile core sample are better. The research results have practical significance forimproving the construction quality and construction digitization of mixing piles.
