Abstract:

To address the specific casting requirements of building formwork⁃mesh concrete structure, ahigh⁃performance self⁃compacting concrete was developed through the optimization of key mix designparameters, including coarse aggregate size, sand ratio, water⁃gel ratio, and cementitious materialsystem. The results show that, after optimizing the mix proportion parameters, the concrete achieved aslump flow of 575mm, a J⁃ring flow difference of 15mm, a V⁃funnel flow time of 15.4s, a T500 time of4.1s, a 28d compressive strength of 53.5MPa, and a paste exudation rate of 2.29%. Thesecharacteristics confirm that the concrete exhibits excellent workability and mechanical properties, fullymeeting the technical requirements of construction formwork. It has been successfully applied in aresettlement housing project in Baoshan District, Shanghai. Core testing of the construction formworkshear walls cast with this self⁃compacting concrete showed a 28d compressive strength of 52.6MPa.
