Abstract:
To enhance the clear height of the building and facilitate the passage of equipment pipelines,a high⁃speed railway station building adopts a large⁃span, retard⁃bonded prestressed concrete perforatedbeam frame structure. Based on this project, the corresponding design method for the prestressedperforated beam opening area has been improved, and its stress state and damage under differentconditions have been verified through ABAQUS finite element analysis. The results show that at theultimate limit stage of bearing capacity, due to the shear effect at the opening, the mid⁃span deflection ofthe perforated beam increases by 5. 6% compared to a beam without an opening. A small number of finecracks appear at the corner of the opening and on the lower chord. At the serviceability limit stage, theupper and lower chords at the mid⁃span, beam ends, and openings are in the elastic stage, with notensile cracking or crushing phenomena. Tensile damage occurs at the corner of the opening due to stressconcentration. In the frequent earthquake combination stage, the inter⁃story displacement angle meets thespecification requirements. The stresses in the stirrups outside the opening and the oblique bars inside arerelatively high, indicating the necessity of the aforementioned reinforcement arrangement. The proposed design method for the opening area can make the mechanical properties of the prestressed perforated beamapproximately equivalent to those of a beam without an opening.
