Abstract:

The cracking problem of the inner partition wall of a commercial residential building inHuai’an City after construction is studied and analyzed. The analysis shows that the cracking is mainlydue to the dry shrinkage characteristics of the lightweight slab material, the installation process defects, the temperature and humidity environment changes and the occasional external force. The on⁃sitemaintenance practice shows that the use of ordinary putty and alkali⁃resistant glass fiber mesh scheme torepair the cracking part of the lightweight slat partition wall is easy to cause secondary recurrence ofcracks, while the use of flexible material seaming combined with non⁃woven fabric reinforcementtechnology can significantly improve the crack resistance of the crack part and effectively reduce the riskof secondary cracking after maintenance.
