Abstract:

Based on the construction project of the Xiamen Rail Transit Line 3 Southern ExtensionSection, this paper analyzes the sound sources and characteristics of commonly used constructionmachinery noise during the earthwork, foundation, structural, and tunnel construction stages. The resultsshow that the noise emissions from most equipment exceed the daytime noise emission standard at theconstruction site boundary, necessitating noise reduction measures. Noise attenuation with distanceexhibits staged characteristics: rapid attenuation within 6m, slower attenuation between 6m and 300m,and stabilization beyond 300m. According to the construction site boundary noise emission standard andthe class 1 sound environment functional area limit, the compliance distances for machinery at eachconstruction stage are calculated. For sensitive areas such as tourist attractions and densely populatedresidential zones, a set of whole⁃process refined control measures is proposed, including site layoutplanning in the early construction phase, refined equipment management, rational scheduling ofconstruction activities and optimization of construction techniques, and intelligent noise monitoring at theconstruction site, to ensure that noise emissions meet the required standards.
