Engineering Construction Academic Committee, the Architectural Society of China
Engineering Construction Academic Committee, established in 2010, is a branch of the Architectural Society of China. It is a national social organization voluntarily composed of units engaged in engineering construction investment, design, construction, education and research, management, component production, and local industry organizations. The committee is affiliated with the Yatai Construction Science & Technology Consulting Institute Co., Ltd., with its Secretariat of Engineering Construction Academic Committee located at the Journal Office of Construction Technology.
Planning Background: Since its establishment in 2010, the committee has organized high-level academic activities under the leadership of the main society. It has supported the society by facilitating training sessions, recruiting members, recommending awards, and establishing a party branch, effectively serving as a bridge for the association. The committee has provided strong technical support to advance new construction methods in China, promoting high-quality development and contributing to the overall progress of the engineering construction industry.
Aims: Relying on the support of its members and the scientific community, the committee aims to uphold its core mission by fostering innovation, driving reform, and strengthening its academic authority and public image. The committee seeks to enhance cohesion and appeal among its members, encouraging them to focus on scientific outreach and technological innovation. Ultimately, the committee aims to develop into an authoritative and well-regarded academic organization within the industry that effectively meets the needs of its members and aligns with the evolving reforms in the construction sector.
The second session of the Council of the Engineering Construction Academic Committee held its re-election meeting successfully in July 2022 in Xi'an. The list of personnel for the second session of the council is as follows.

Over the next five years, guided by the dual carbon goals, the 14th Five-Year Plan, and the Vision for 2035, the Committee will formulate development plans that align with the themes of new industrialization, smart technologies, modern infrastructure, urbanization, rural revitalization, green development, and high-quality growth. Our efforts aim to make a significant contribution to the high-quality advancement of China's engineering and construction industries.
