The journal has been honored with numerous distinctions, including  Nominated Journal of National Journal Award, National Excellent Scientific and Technological Journal, Excellent Science & Technology Journal of the Ministry of Construction, SHUANGBAI Journal of China Periodical Matrix, High-Quality Journal of the China Construction Industry Association, and Excellent Journal of the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China.

On October 26, 2022, the Academic Highlights Database of CNKI released a list of high-impact papers published over the past 12 years (2011–2022). A total of 2,790 papers from Construction Technology were selected, ranking first among journals in the same discipline.
